Define the item’s purpose, dimensions and location. Check delivery access, working space and any utility connections it requires.
Look beyond the surface
Review surfaces, edges, joints, cleanability and visible defects. A polished stainless-steel exterior does not confirm the condition of refrigeration or electrical components; inspection must suit the equipment.
Document the purchase
Keep the model, measurements, condition photos and agreed inspection findings. Clarify transport, installation, price inclusions and any actual warranty. A photograph cannot establish remaining service life.
